My name is Jourdan and I'm 19 years old. Since July of 2011 I have lost 43.2 pounds and plan to lose 46.8 more through healthy eating & a whole lot of exercise! This is a healthy fitblr, my excercise and diet regime are being monitored by my trainer.

Real World Probs.

Having a job as a Starbucks barista and having access to as much free coffee and stuff as you want doesn’t help when you’re trying to lose weight.

I respect fit runners and I respect overweight runners. I respect fast runners and I respect slow runners. I respect people who run 5 miles and I respect people who run 25 miles. I respect people who run in group and I respect solo runners. I respect shirtless runners and I respect fully clothed runners. I respect walkers, joggers, and sprinters. I respect female runners and I respect male runners. I respect young runners and I respect old runners. I respect winter, spring, summer, fall runners. My point is this: the first step out the front door is the hardest, and I respect anyone who takes it.

Alright, so a couple of people have asked to see my waltz jump that I learned the other day! Well…here it is! Haha it’s super tiny and barely a jump but is also a million times harder than it actually looks!

Figure Skating.

I’ve taken up figure skating. It’s a great workout, and I also have kind of figured out that I love it.

I’ve been taking lessons for about 5 months and today was a big day!

I got to learn my first jump today! It’s only a half rotation, but still! For a split second, I was airborne! :)

I’m back.

I’m officially back on Tumblr.

I’ve kind if strayed off course.

Probably put back on 20 pounds, but I was in a walking boot for 8 weeks with tendonitis in my foot. Not that I’m using that as an excuse, but it certainly didn’t help with my struggle.

I’m out of town right now, but I head back home tomorrow. Just being honest, I’m not gonna kill myself to eat 1500 calories tomorrow. But on Thursday, when I wake up at home, and head to bootcamp at 6 am, you can bet that I’ll be back on track.

Im so sick of being overweight. I’m sick of looking in the mirror and not being happy. I’m ready to change this for good.

My 21st birthday is on April 22nd. That’s my goal.

Found out a week ago that I might have a stress fracture :/ I had an MRI on my foot on Monday night, and have an appointment tomorrow morning to find out the results. This. Sucks. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Ž
